Eynesbury House - the front on a card showing the house - around 1910.
This house was lived in by James Paine, brick and tile maker, for many years until it was bought by William Emery, retired bank manager, in 1898. Access to the house was through gates in Berkley Street and up a long driveway. The house faced west. The land at the front was sold and developed during the mid 20th century and today the access is from Howitts Lane.
